Inspired Flowers was established back in 2000, and is very proud to be a part of the local community here in Birkdale Village.

Inspired Flowers is the only florist in the area that display flowers in a specialist chiller, this ensures our blooms are kept at the correct temperature all year round, this maximises the vase life of our flowers and we are incredibly proud to offer this facility.

Our passion for flowers we feel always shines through in the designs that we create, here at Inspired Flowers we are always pushing for creative excellence. Inspired Flowers specialises not only in beautiful bouquets for all occasions, but also creates flowers for Weddings, Funerals, Event dressing and corporate clients. Meet our amazing Owner

Sarah Dobb - Owner

Lives life to the absolute max. Mum of two girls, floristry experience dating back to 1994. Favourite flowers are Peonies. Loves spending time with friends and family, if not found creating anything floral, will be found on a yoga mat or at a pub quiz , drinking a sparkling water.

Judith - Florist

Judith joined the Inspired Flowers team in 2023 and has a real passion for creating bespoke floral arrangements, for local customers with a sprinkling of attentive and friendly customers service. Favourite flowers include Anemone's and Ranunculus. Her other passions include a love of travel, cooking, yoga and cycling with friends and family.

Sarah and her team are fantastic - you receive extremely professional customer service and they can't do enough for you. Sarah's Story

Sarah’s passion for flowers started as a child, she would often spend her pocket money buying her Mum flowers, she would visit her local florist and knew from a child that she wanted to work with flowers.

Sarah’s family were also in the Horticulture sector, so it’s in her blood

Sarah started working in the floristry industry back in 1994, from that moment on she was hooked and got the Florist bug. Sarah went on to study floristry at The Welsh College of Horticulture, where she gained her ND ICSF and NDSF, she was at the time one of the youngest students to ever reach that level, she always wanted to study to the highest level possible.

She then went on to work in a Top London Florist, but decided London life wasn’t for her, so
came back home and set up Inspired Flowers back in 2000, aged just 19. Her great loves include turning people’s floral visions into reality, it makes her so happy seeing their reactions, that’s her favourite part of her job. When she’s not creating flowery things, she loves being Mummy to her two beautiful girls, she also enjoys yoga and walking her Yorkshire Terrier, Ellie.

Sarah has also studied at College level in dressmaking, cake decorating , jewellery making and
felt making, She is forever learning new skills, she plans to start a photography course this year.
Her favourite flowers are Hydrangea, Peonies and Stocks, She loves Pastel tones and all whites.
